Consistently taking Great Photographs is not about luck.  Capturing the moment in a Great Photograph is a skill.  The Photographer's Learning Studio (PLS) specializes in teaching students these skills and how to get the most out of their digital cameras.  We offer classes, workshops, photography trips, and individual instruction to meet your needs regardless of your experience or background in photography. Our lessons are taught by experienced photographers  with a passion for teaching. Using everyday language, the learner quickly builds up their skill set. The journey embarked upon with PLS results in you being able to capture great images and building a solid photography foundation.

Our Instructors began much like you. They got their first camera because they always loved taking pictures. They eventually moved up to a Digital SLR. They had many of the same questions you have right now no matter where you are on the timeline. 

Often, the language used to explain how to get the most out of your camera is confusing. You may need hands-on instruction, rather than or an online tutorial. 

This is where The Photographer's Learning Studio helps. Our instructors are experienced educators with a combined 50 years of teaching in the classroom and our team has 70 years of photography experience. So, we are uniquely qualified to educate photographers from beginner to professional in a language and pace that fits each. 

The Photographer's Learning Studio currently offers 20 different Day and Evening Classes and All Day Workshops.  We frequently add new classes based on our students' needs, interests, and input.  In fact, one of our most exciting examples is The studio's "Traveling Classrooms". The       Photographer's  Learning Studio is in a Partnership with the Sugar Land Skeeters. This incredible relationship        allows our students up-close access during Constellation Field Events and Skeeter's Games as our "Field Learning Studio". These unique opportunities deliver a "hands-on" photography experience that helps to get you in the middle of the action positioned perfectly to catch that magic moment.
